Class of 2010

Senior Sunday at our church is always bitter sweet.
The Seniors anticipate this day their entire year, and then when it comes, there's tears shed and laughter shared. The Girls this year are very special to Eric and I. These four ladies have shown us love for as long as we can remember, in fact they were all part of my summer program in 2003 when I was an intern for Grace.
Here's a little bio on all of them... to show a little love to our seniors on senior Sunday!
Abby Phair ... Abby is graduating this year from Thomas Jefferson High School. Abby is a very sweet girl, and not only because we share a name :) She always greets us with a hug and a smile. She has defeated some amazing obstacles in her life, and I have a lot of admiration for her strength and faith. Good things are going to happen for this girl.
Lauren Jerde... Lauren is also graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School this year. Lauren sings like an angel and plays soccer like a... well she's good. Her and I spend lots of time geeking out over camera equipment when we're together, she's quiet, and beautiful!
Sarah Greene ... Sarah is graduating with all sorts of honors from Sumner High School, she's a very active band geek and played in the Olympic band of the 2008 Bejing Olympics with her Sister. Sarah and I bonded over a long trek down the mountain side at Lazy F and the bus ride home. I'll miss her at youth events with her race across the room to hug me.

Caitlyn Moore is graduating from Todd Beamer High school with all sorts of honors as well. She is possibly the goofiest gal I've met. She always makes people laugh and isn't afraid to go that extra mile to do so. She loves Disneyland and everything in it, and that is where we are kindred spirits. Caitlyn will go on to make the world a happier place.

Eric was smarter about this whole thing and got the girls to congregate for a photo where I took them all on one by one. They all love him so much! It's so fun to watch them all joke around together. We'll miss these girls.

Not to be bias, but I just didn't get an opportunity to get closer shots of the other kids who mean just as much to us, who I could write just as much about. A few highlights. Ashely Shultz, who has blossomed into a beautiful and fairly outgoing gal, she used to be so quiet and reserved, she too races across the room for a hug now, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Jeff Larabee, the tall one? He's one heck of a ball player! Reece, the other tall one with the really long hair... is going to the Navy for Nuclear energy studies... wow. that's really all I can say!

And this one... who is NOT a senior, but is possibly one of the most beautiful people I know, she has such a heart of gold. Since I had my camera in church ... we took this photo :o).
It feels good to be loved.
Congratulations class of 2010 .... We're SO proud of you!
