Dark, Dreary, Rainy, Depressing...

It's July... Right? I mean it must be July because I was woken up by loud popping sounds in our alley around 2:30 am this morning. I kind of thought it was gunshots at first, but then realized how close we are to the 4th of July. But it really doesn't LOOK like July here.

I had to dig deep in my closet amongst my winter gear this morning for some red, white and blue to wear to work in light of the festivities coming up this weekend. Last year I had on layered tank tops with a light cover, this year a long sleeved shirt with socks, shoes, and jeans. I'm sure I'll put on a sweater at some point in time today. On the plus side... these are the shoes I'm wearing!

We're having Reiner, Teresa, Michael and Caitlyn over to our house for the fireworks. I am super excited to see the little ones, its' been a month or so. I am also ready to break out the red white and blue decorations and menu!
