The Fourth!

Don't let the sunshine in these first few photos fool you. I took them on Saturday - and it was wonderfully sunny on Saturday!

I didn't get the pictures posted... so I thought I'd piggy back them on this post. Here's the kids hanging out on the porch, enjoying some rays. Which now we can't get Gracie to stay away from the back porch... awesome.

It was great to enjoy the sunshine while it lasted...

And take pictures of our 4th of July spirit...

Which we share with our neighbor! Then Sunday rolled around, and the clouds rolled in. along with those loud fireworks that Aquaman hated!

I should have taken his 4th of July picture earlier in the day - it was hard to get him to sit still. He was scared of all the booms and bangs!

There are only two things that these two will join forces against ... the vacuum cleaner and fireworks, they both hate them!

Around 5 Reiner and Teresa came over with their little ones Michael (2) and Caitlyn (3months). We ate some burgers and brats, and then taught Michael how to play wii!

He hit a home run on his first try without even looking at the TV... Take that!

He became bored with it, and Reiner and Eric decided to play some games together.

After Eric got his snuggle time in with Caitlyn of course!
He handed her off to me, and I promptly rocked her to sleep!

I love other peoples babies! Especially these two!

We had a nice time visiting and waiting for the fireworks show to begin.

Around 9 Tim and Kat came over to see the show as well.

I didn't take any pictures of the fireworks - they never turn out the way I want them to.

It was great to share the fourth with friends we love!

It was a great day!
