This is the best blackberry pickin night we've ever had! At most we normally get half as many.Not tonight! We were on a roll, and the blackberries were super ripe!
We picked and picked till our sore hands couldn't take no more, and until my allergies started to act up. I get all itchy and sniffly after about 15 minutes, but I really enjoy picking!
We had been in the alley for about 20 minutes when our neighbor Ute peeked her head out her window and offered us Salmon in trade for a slice of blackberry pie. And then our neighbor Jack offered to bring the Ice Cream if we brought the pie. Both offers are kind of hard to resist so, I have a feeling Eric will be making pie this week.
