Shoeless Abby Ronnebeck

This story has made so many people laugh today, I thought I'd share it here, in hopes to brighten your day.

I have very weird luck.

I was walking to the open elevator when I was headed out for lunch when the door started to close, not wanting to cut into my lunch hour to wait for the next elevator I kicked my leg out to stop the doors from closing, that's when my shoe flew off and landed in the elevator; then the elevator door closed.

There I stood, still on the 28th floor, missing my right shoe. I then spent the next 5-10 minutes riding elevators and pushing buttons to try to get the last elevator on the left side (out of 6 elevators) to open. Finally a little defeated, I got off the elevator on the 3rd floor, and there sat my shoe right by the buttons to call the elevator. That's what you call a "shoe in the elevator type of day"

Megan helped me reenact my shoe in the elevator scene, because it was just that ridiculous.

Thanks for laughing with me, or at me, whichever one you're doing...

I'm just glad I still have both of my shoes!
