The Lonly Lady at the Theater

Last week Eric had Tim over for Football on Thursday night, so I decided to go to a movie by myself. I don't have any shame about ordering a very Large popcorn and hanging out by myself in a large theater, normally close to the front. I did have a little shame this time though because I was going to see the 4th Twilight movie.

A Twihard I am not, but I did read the books, and I did enjoy the books.
I did happen to think the 4th book (pictured to the left) did jump the shark a little, but didn't really think much of it until the previews for the movie started to appear on TV. Internally I was thinking "Are they really going to do a 4th movie" and at the same time thinking "how bad are the effects going to be during the vampire baby scene". You heard me right, Vampire Baby.

It wasn't bad. I can't say that I was overly impressed, but I wasn't totally embarrassed. There were only two scenes that made me think "am I really here watching this - did I really pay $9.25 to see this?" One of those scenes was when all the werewolves were in a circle talking to eachotehr - their lips weren't moving, but the ambiance of the scene made it feel like they probably should have been; and the other was when the vampires and the werewolves were fighting - It just didn't look right.

So there you have it folks, my review - not that you probably cared, but I thought I'd share anyhow.
