Our Nutcracker Date!

 It. Was. Perfect!

I loved every part of our Nutcracker extravaganza, the food was awesome, our outfits were fancy, and the Nutcracker was absolutely gorgeous!

I think everyone should go at least once, it's a pretty magical thing and the PNB does a great job with it! I was so amazed at all the kids dancing and not missing a single step!

I didn't take my big camera along at request of my husband to "just enjoy" but I did manage to snap a few before we left the house and a few on my cell phone camera.

So, here we are!

This was just before we left the house. Best Christmas tree photo to date, it amazes me how hard Christmas tree photos are to get right in the night time.  I may have to read up on that!
Once we got to Queen Anne hill, we had decided to eat at Bamboo Gardens. Eric had eaten there a lot with James when he still lived here, and it's a 100% Vegan restaurant. I was hesitant that I would like the food because I love my meat, and even more so, I love eggs!

I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing taste and texture of all our food. They use "Soy" or "Vegetable" products to produce "meat like" substance. I know it sounds sketchy, but it really isn't. So delish!
And really, how could you go wrong with fried stuff topped with sweet and sour!?
We were so excited to be out and be "fancy"! It was fun!

My hairpiece were clip-on earrings that Eric's cousin gave me that were his Aunt Billies, It was a nice little touch of glamor.
After dinner we had a little time till we had to be in McCaw Hall. So we walked around the International Fountain by the space needle. Looks like the Noodle is all ready for Christmas too!
Then we went into the "play house" near the Seattle center to look at the Christmas tree and the Christmas Village they set up every year!
I would love to have THIS detailed of a Christmas Village in my house :)
Here's McCaw Hall! The lights change colors as you walk through - It's pretty cool!

I was so excited to be near! I started taking pictures of Everything Nutcracker!

A real tree that looks just like the one in the Nutcracker!
They had these guys every 50 yards or so. It was fun to see all the little girls in their VERY BIG Christmas dresses pose by these for their parents. I guess I was no exception - I wanted a picture with the Nutcracker in my Christmas dress too! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of daddies that take their little girls to the Nutcracker - what a special memory!

Some guy offered to take our photo for us in front of the tree. I am surprised at how well it turned out! Thanks random guy!
We got up to the floor where our seats were and they were serving wine and beverages and sweets.

We got ourselves a little sweet to go along with our Nutcrackerness!

I wanted so badly to just go and let the show start, but had to remind myself that it would start at 7:30 on the dot, and not a minute sooner so I needed to be patient.
Good thing Eric distracted me with wine, coke and a cookie!

There were "no pictures allowed" during the production, so from here you'll have to use your imagination, or google it!

This was such a wonderful lovely production of the Nutcracker! I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to go! Thank you Jackie for giving us a wonderful gift! We will treasure these memories forever!

You look both look so pretty, I'm glad you had such a great time! I've never been to the ballet, must add it to my bucket list.
