This week has been a challenge.
We switched to a new system at work and it has been hectic.
I would like to say that I came through with flying colors, but I still look a little grey. The first morning I popped out of bed like a piece of toast out of a toaster with a good attitude, then slowly, each morning got tougher, and tougher and this morning, nearly impossible.
But tomorrow is Saturday - Sleep in, be lazy, take down Christmas Decorations Saturday - Bliss.
For reasons that are quite obvious I'm trying to flip over a new leaf in my new year. Trying to make the best of the time that I have. I am the worst at coming home to a warm meal and a television and sinking those last 6 hours of my day into the world of TV or internet. But NO MORE - Once a week, at best. That's my goal. Last night I totally blitzed the bathroom and made it clean - and then announced to my household that we will have a chore chart because a clean bathroom just feels so good! On the list for tonight? A little relaxation, then - some Relay! A little work every day makes life a little easier - or thats my theory.
Also, I have scheduled my Series 7 & 66 exam... eek!

Sounds like a good plan, Abbers! I am starting something of the like this Monday the 9th, I'm preparing for it over the weekend. I support you and Good Luck to you and your household, May the Force Be with You!

I've made a goal to try to disconnect for the new year, mostly because Steve doesn't like me being buried in pinterest and blogs and not talking to him. Last night I was only on so we could play "this or that" and when he left for work this morning at 4:30, I grabbed the iPad and pinned till 6 then I went back to sleep. What he doesn't know won't hurt him.
