Day three was Grandma's funeral. After staying up till 3 am with my cousins and my sister, getting up at 7am to get ready to go up to the church wasn't easy.
Since we were all dressed up, Shannon and Erica wanted a few pictures together. Here are a couple of my favorites.
I will post about Grandma's funeral after this, so we'll skip around a little.
I have one beautiful 14 year old Niece!
She's a total goofball too - but you have to warm her up first!
Lucky for me, I can make her and her Mom do silly things.
And often I have a camera around to prove it!
I made her do a jump off the deck, and though those shots didn't turn out very well, I'd make her do it all over again to get these shots of her laughing - they're amazing.
After we got lunch, and got changed we headed back to Kathy's house to hang out as a family and Angie and I had to take our traditional cousins photo... which we skipped last year I might add.
And then, Grandmas' Grand daughters went through her jewelery and divided it amongst us, and the great grand daughters. We giggled a little while we did so, because Grandma used to let us riffle through her jewelery but would often say "that's enough" after we'd been at it for awhile. It was bitter sweet to not get yelled at for digging through the boxes.
The kids spent the day outside playing ....
Jett
Avery
Cooper, Jayven & Addison - they're playing ring around the rosie... I love Addison's face in these :)
My Brudder
Brynn!
It was a good day to be with the family. Grandma was celebrated and loved.
