Christmas Eve!

 I didn't take a whole ton of pictures this year, but I am working on remedying that in the new year - More on that later! First up our advent calendars, the one below we've had for 6 years and we refill the little boxes each year with Mint M&M's! We always get a little behind on that one because we don't quite feel like M&M's. Last year we picked up a Lego City advent calendar for 70% off, and we're really hoping to score another one for next year! It was SO much fun!

 We started out our night by going to Christmas Eve Service at Tim's church on Mercer Island with Katherine. The service was lovely, and FULL of music! It was SO much fun to see Tim in action as the Vicar of Holy Trinity. He's got the talent for it! I still have yet to make it through a "Silent Night" since losing Mom without sobbing. I would really like to be able to sing that song again some day... *Sigh... Maybe next year...

 But, before we left for church, I forced my family into our annual Christmas Eve Photo. I've gotta say, this could have been our best year yet, I liked the setting... but we failed to get everyone to look at the camera all at once - *sigh... maybe next year :)!

After church we stopped by Ute's for a few appetizers and a glass of wine, and then headed home to prep for our visitors! Ivan and Dawn have made it a bit of a tradition to stop by for some treats and presents on Christmas Eve! We love having them over!

It was a wonderful (and late) Christmas Eve! Good to be with friends and neighbors making Merry!
