Today my dear friend Megan and her team of Carnies faced off against my favorite Roller Derby Team Grave Danger! It was hard to cheer for the purple and black while they were facing Danger, but I held out, and cheered loud for those Carnies! I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of my favorites though, I mean Carmen Getsome is just too awesome!
Sadly Carnevil lost - but they played a good game, and Losing was in large part to Carmen, who had a couple 30 point Jams.
It was fun to see Megan in her element though. Skating, hitting and falling. Great Job lady - I'm so proud!
The game was very physical, they've recently gotten rid of the Minor penalties, and it really makes a difference, and it's a much faster game!
She sat in the penalty box a couple times, but always ran straight out when she was done! Good hustle!
She's my favorite skater, no matter what team she's on, or against. I wish I could hit you hard lady, but for now I'll just have to be your #1 fan!
