I woke this morning to an inch of snow on my deck... it was coming down pretty good, and I was a little worried about my inevitably bumpy commute. I got to the bus stop fine, and made it to Seattle unscathed after a small car side swipped my bus.
I was ready to call it a day... I'm tired and commuting in the snow is a bear... but when I arrived downtown and saw the city Christmas tree all lit up and dusted with snow in the plaza, I cranked my Christmas music, sipped my piping hot Eggnog latte, and settled into Friday.
Plus, If I had called it a day, I wouldn't have gotten to show off my amazing Christmas gift that Jackie sent me... I'm totally in to bracelets and cuffs right now, and an Owl Bracelet = Even better!
