Kneeland Family Christmas

With our varying schedules, it made it quite impossible for us all to get together prior to January 1st to celebrate Christmas together! So, we made a date early in the season that we'd celebrate Christmas together on January 1st! What a great way to ring in the new year.

 Christina and Cara cooked us some yummy food and then there were gifts!

This one is at the perfect age where every gift is amazing! She was super excited to keep opening gifts, weather they were for her or not!  She was so much fun to watch, you couldn't say no to her help! Though she was not nearly as excited about my towels and bedsheets as I was! I guess it's the age gap.

But one of Cara's gifts came with lots of shredded paper that was as fun to play in as snow... and this ensued...

While they were on the floor playing, Eric, Lucas and I joined them in an attempt to get a family photo... here's some of the outtakes, I don't think we got one with us all looking or really with all of our faces in it at once!

Oh well! We had so much fun playing with shredded paper - the family photo didn't matter!
