Random Thoughts...

I haven't posted the "little things" for awhile... So Here's a little bit of a random post for you... as if what I post here isn't random enough!

a| Last week we went to Ash Wednesday with our friend/landlord Kerri. Living in this house has been great, what we didn't realize is that we'd get to see John & Kerri so much more, makes living in this house even better!

b| I gave up swearing for Lent, and I'd be lying if I said I've been 100% good at it. I have a swear Jar on my desk collecting paperclips, each paperclip is worth 25 cents. At the end of day one I had all ready accumulated $4 worth of swears... I'm doing much better now!

c| After being "moved in" for a solid month now, I finally got my "extra" bedroom/craftroom unpacked yesterday. I still have one lingering box, which belongs in the bathroom which is still under construction, but we're getting closer - Much closer!

d| We babysat Demi & Lucas on Saturday evening, and I love those kids. They kept us busy!

e| It's been doing nothing but pouring rain here for the past week. I have been saying little prayers here and there hoping it clears up by the time Shannon & Erica get here!

f|  I have all my vacation scheduled for 2014 and I'm happy to announce, we aren't going anywhere! Something about HOME has really been calling our name, and the travel bug hasn't bitten us as it has in the past. I have a few days off in March while the girls are here, a couple days off in July when Lucas is being baptized, a few in May for Dan & Noelle's wedding, and a whole week for Christmas!

g| I'm slowly becoming obsessed with Chevron print - I kind of want it on EVERYTHING.

h| This weekend I got a Nook - Now I need suggestions for good books - and GO!
