The Kids....

Just checking in to say hello from the furry kids...

Erica's Visit | Sunday

Erica's last day was Sunday, and she was bound and determined to make it worth her while. So, we hopped on a ferry early in the morning for Bainbridge Island. Our destination? Port Gamble.... I mean seriously, look at this... wouldn't it be your desitnation too? So, we had breakfast at the Cafe there - which was pretty yummy. The Service on the other hand, left something to be desired. Then, we walked around to the little shops in the houses on the main road. There aren't a ton there... but they're all really cute, and have neat gifts in them! After breakfast and shopping we headed to Poulsbo - Erica's Dream town to shop some more. We all went our separate ways in the town, but all found eachother at the book store... again :) Here's where my pictures get a little out of order... but none the less, we wrapped up our day by headed back on the ferry for Seattle, with a quick stop at Uwajimaya and Barne

Erica's Visit | Saturday

After two full days at Comicon standing on Concrete, we had a tough time getting going on Saturday Morning. So, we took it easy, and went hiking along the Des Moines Creek Trail to see the wooded area and to take her Senior photos. After a couple hours of that, we went over to Auntie Irene's and had lunch and coffee. It was so beautiful out, we decided to head back to the beach in the Des Moines Marina and play with some sealife and waiting pools. She was in heaven. This little lady would love to be a Marine Biologist some day. Me on the other hand? I'd rather not touch ANYTHING you see here :) She could have spent all day here. Here is the first Sand Dollar I've ever found on a beach. Usually you just see them in ticky tacky tourist shops all bleached out. This one was not alive, so Erica took it home with her. This one was most definitely still alive, so we left it on the beach. Erica and Eric both held it to feel the movement... I d
