Apples to Apples

Eric and I had a pretty wonderful Saturday, it's our New Year's resolution (amongst many) to wake up earlier and do more on the weekends to maximize our time together. We normally sleep in till 11 or so, but 9 is our new goal.

Today after Pax's Baptism we ate breakfast together at Jack's in Des Moines, then we went and picked up a few things at Ikea, Bed Bath and Beyond and headed to get coffee at Starbucks. We then spent some time at home and bumed around a little bit when we got an invite to go to our friend's Lee & Jess' house in Tacoma.

We accepted and found ourselves eating pizza, drinking white russians and playing apples to apples with not only Lee and Jess, but two other couple's I didn't know when I walked in the door. It was such a great day to spend together! I am SO ready for bed though.
