I know I've only been participating in NaBloPoMo for a few days, but I can all ready tell that Saturday and Sunday are going to be my most difficult days. I find myself at the end of the day going "Oh yeah... I need to go blog" and with the weather the way it has been this weekend, our Internet seems to be intermittent.
Today we drove up to Lynnwood to celebrate Tacy Day - which, to be clear is NOT (is) her Birthday! She likes to celebrate by having her friends over for a game day because living with two cats is fun, but they lack the hand eye coordination and whit to play Apples to Apples and Kill Doctor Lucky amongst other board games.
So, we brought a snack to share and sat down at a table with 8 (+ or -) people and played the rainy day away.
It was fun to catch up with people we only see once a year (or so) and enjoy the laughter that ensues with games like Apples to Apples.
The traffic going home was about as much fun as spending two hours on the bus Friday, instead it was an hour and a half in our fit, and at least we had eachother.
Now I'm home, It's cozy... and I have some pajamas to enjoy...
