Remembering Cai

I never have a hard time going to work in the morning; I almost always have a hop in my step.
But this day... for the past two years... it's been hard for me to walk in the door at work.
This day the 22nd of December is when we found out that we lost the Vice President of Information Systems to Suicide.
He had taken his life on the 19th, but on the 22nd is when it shook our world here at work.
His face hasn’t faded, and some of the systems that he’s created we still occasionally curse, but ultimately each system is a piece of him, still working in our lives in a weird way.
We miss you Cai, Truly we do.
