I was so excited when I decided on Eric's birthday gift. He likes video games, and I decided that I was going to sneak over to Burien with Mariya on Saturday and pick up his birthday gift so I could have it all nice and wrapped for Tuesday.
I succeed and made my way home with the game and wrapped it up all nice and pretty ... er... handsomely.
When I got home today I asked Eric how his day went and he said he got a chance to play a little Mass Effect 2. My heart sank to the floor. I was hearing him out, thinking maybe he had only tried a demo. Nope, I totally lost track and had bought it for him for Christmas.
Who does that?
So, I broke the news to him that I bought him Mass Effect 2 for his birthday also. I'm so glad I kept the receipt.
When did I become so air-headed!???
