After spending some time at Walmart we went out to Tony & Julie's to see the boys & Julie. We weren't there for long, but the fresh air and wide open spaces felt really good.
Kyle and Carter took us out to show us their new kitties!
Just a few weeks old... so cute!
They needed to get going up to Aberdeen for the weekend, so we left, and stopped by the Sioux Valley Greenhouse.
Sorry we cut you off there Erica - This one took about 5 tries and we still didn't get it right... darn that new cell camera... I digress..
It was fun to check out the greenhouse; I remember running up and down these rows of flowers as a kid when Mom would go to buy flowers for our garden. Still looks the same, still smells the same - that's a good thing!
As we were leaving Sioux Valley I suggested that we grab Empire Pizza... Mmmm.... Empire....
We took the pizza out to the track and fed Todd, Kathy & Kevin!
Erica had fun playing on the grandstands... which is so NOT allowed on race night !
We ended the night with a drive around the lake, a stop by Mt. Hope to see Grandpa Papa and Grandpa Leon where I ended up in ankle deep mud, and a stop by Grandma Nani's house.
Then I snuggled into my jammies just as Kathy needed extra help going to Walmart! It wouldn't be a trip to South Dakota if it didn't include a midnight run to Walmart!
