Life's a Happy Song

Lifes a Happy Song

Everything is great everything is grand
I got the whole wide world in the palm of my hand
Everything is perfect its falling into place
I cant seem to wipe this smile off my face
Life's a happy song when theres someone by my side to sing along
When your alone life can be a little rough
It makes you feel like your 3 feet tall
When its just you times can be tough
When theres no one there to catch your fall
Everything is great everything is grand
I got the whole wide world in the palm of my hand
Everything is perfect its falling into place
I cant seem to wipe this smile off my face
Life smells like a rose with someone to ping
with someone to pose
Lifes like a piece of cake with someone to pedal
Someone to break
Life is full of glee with someone to saw
and someone to see
Life's a happy song when theres someone by my side to sing along
Ive got everything that I need right in front of me
Nothings stopping me nothing i cant be
with you right here next to me
Lifes a piece of cake with someone to give and someone to take
Lifes a piece of pie with someone to wash and someone to dry
Lifes an easy road with someone with you to share the load
Life is full of highs with someone to stir
and someone to fry
Life is like a lamb and someone to lend a hand
Lifes a bunch of flowers with someone a while to lay the hours
yes it is
Life's a happy song when theres someone by your side to sing along
ive got everything that i need right in front of me
Nothings stopping me nothing i cant be
with you right here next to me
ive got everything that i need right in front of me
Sorry super excited
this is the most romantic thing ever
ive always drempt of see los angeles
I know walter cant wait either
you dont mind if hes coming right
oh no no of course not
as long as we can spend our aniversery dinner together
thats all i ask
ok let me check on walter
everything is great everything is grand
expect garys already off with his friend
its never me and him
its always me and and him
wonder when its going to end
right now i guess its ok
maybe someday i know how its going to be
youll ride up on a steed and get down on 1 knee
and say mary will you marry me please
ive got everything that i need right in front of me
Nothings stopping me nothing i cant be
with you right here next to me
youve got everything you need right in front of you
nothings stopping you that you cant do you
got the world in front of you
lifes a happy song when theres somone by your side to sing
lifes a happy song when theres somone by your side to sing
lifes a happy song when theres somone by your side to sing along

My Happy Place

I have a lot of happy space in my world - but the happiest of all is Marvista Park in Normandy Park, just a few short miles from my house. It's the one place where I can go, be a kid, and then feel completely refreshed afterwards. Vacation is coming... T minus a few weeks now, and I feel like I've earned the crap out of it this year! But until then, a weekly trip to my happy place with the furry one should do it!  I love his little feet trying to take on the leaves! So cute.

The Wreath

It all started with Pinterest - yes, that rant about Pinterest still stands, but this was inspired from there. I wanted to recreate a wreath of bulbs, I hate buying wreaths since they expire year after year, this one will hang in my home for a LONG time, possibly till I die... that is how much I love how it turned out! So, being my crafty (and somewhat frugal) self, I set off to find the materials to make it. Finding that bulbs are not quite as cheap as you'd expect, I found them for 80% off.  This wreath, at cost would have run me about $125. ACK! I made it for under 35%! So pretty! So pleased! Many have asked me to make one for them - my answer - you buy the bulbs and materials and I'll glue it together!

Thoughts of the American Pride Persuasion

I sat, mesmerized as I watched the “Breaking News” of the past 24 hours – Osama Bin Laden, Dead. What? I can’t really deny my mixed feelings about posting today. I don’t normally jump into the political rings but I can’t deny the HUGE news that swept our nation yesterday. So, this post has been thought out, a lot, typed really slowly, every word, intentional. Which is a huge leap from my normal ramblings of a Monday morning. We were sitting on the couch watching a movie, the movie ended and Eric turned on the news, and we watched, in awe. Just like September 11 th , I’ll always remember where I was when I heard the news. I can’t say I was ready to strap on a flag superhero cape style, and run up and down the street chanting “USA… USA… USA” like hundreds and thousands of other Americans in DC and New York, but then again, I wasn’t near ground zero, in Pennsylvania or at the pentagon the day that Osama Bin Laden became a household name. The American in me wants to be happy and
