I used to be one of the craftiest people around.
I always had a project or 5 on the horizon and things I wanted and NEEDED to do. They sometimes would come out AMAZING and other times, a little lack luster, but always it was therapeutic.
Know what I've discovered?
Pinterest may have ruined my creative streak.
I used to be able to look at something and craft it into whatever I wanted it to be, and try something new, and see if it worked. Now, I think of something I've "Seen on Pinterest before" and then take a couple stabs at it and end up a little disappointed that it didn't turn out like the pro-crafty posts on Pinterest.
Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE Pinterest, I just might try to stay away from it a little more. I need my crafty streak back.
I worked on a couple projects tonight - one of which is a Christmas gift for my Relay people, which you'll have to wait till the 11th of December to see... but I'll get the other one posted as soon as it's done (might be awhile).
