This weekend was unexpectedly filled to the brim with things to do!
Christina had texted me and asked if we wanted to hang out Saturday... Little did I know we'd have a blast all DAY long!
We started out our morning at the Farmers market at the Des Moines Marina.
We walked, ate yummy FM food, and then headed down to the beach to let the girls play in the tide pools. As you can imagine they don't get to play in the ocean much in Yuma Arizona.
This little one was not scared at ALL to touch everything she could find! I think she'll be a perfect Pacific North westerner.
She's such a Doll!
|Baby Harvey slept through the entire day... Mostly :)|
After lots of playing we headed to Tacoma for a bite to eat and landed at the Cliff House restaurant. It's BEAUTIFUL! I never even knew it existed! I'm pretty excited to eat there again! Beautiful views, and decent food!
We decided we were celebrating Fathers Day for Gene since he was gone that weekend - so here he is with his family (Harvey still sleeping in his car seat in the corner). Oh and for those of you who don't know the entire family yet... it's Cara, Demitra, Gene, Casey and Christina.
And then, we took this picture to send to Grandma & Grandpa, Me, Demitra, Casey, Cara and baby Harvey (still sleeping in his car seat).
Since it was such a beautiful day - we kept going, and hung out at the LeMay Car Museum!
We had fun picking out our "favorites"
After the museum - it was DQ for blizzards, then to Gene's for some R&R in the back yard.
Looking forward to Friday night when we all get together to eat some indian food before the girls go back to Yuma on Monday.
Looking forward to Cara moving out here for school! We'll get to see each other a lot more often :o)
