I have a co-worker (*ahem Mindy) who is a firm believer in not moving
on to the next holiday until the last one is over.
I normally subscribe to this belief as well. However, our mileage varies
with Fall/Halloween since I believe that September 1st is the
official kick off to the fall quarter, and hence fall leaves shall be
displayed! Mindy grumbles and would argue that no leaves shall see the light of
day until September 21st, and so, early in our co-workership we reached an
agreement that I will put up fall one leaf at a time, which means a slow onset
of the fall season for her, and a little taste of the season for me. We’ve worked
together 7 years and haven’t killed each other yet, so It’s my belief that it
works for us. However, I should point out that ONE of us has a Snowman on our desk from last year still, and it's not me.
This year, for whatever reason. October 31st came and went
without much celebration and I can’t hide my Christmas pride right now! I
normally hold off till at least Thanksgiving, and then jump in with both feet
the day after, but this year, I started listening to Christmas music on the bus
in the morning, and then slowly, for a few minutes a day I have played it at my
desk with generous warning to my co-workers to not come near should they NOT
want to hear the joyful tunes!
That being said – I’ve been scouring for a good deal on tickets to the
Nutcracker this year… If anyone comes across a promotional code or a decent Groupon
(or Living Social) deal, please let me know!
So I say to you my bloggy friends… Raise your Red Starbucks cup and let us
MARCH INTO THE CHRISTMAS SEASON!

I'm with you Abby! I say if you want to celebrate all the holidays together why not! Why not enjoy the prep for thanksgiving while making and decorating your windows with snowflakes (super fun and pretty) I say bring them all on and just be joyfull about what ever holiday your looking forward to:)
:)
Agreed! I have totally been listening to Christmas music at work all week, and slowly putting up accents of Red, white and silver whenever I get the chance.
Home, is another story - all my decorations are in STORAGE! So once I get them out... it's ON!
