How does one even begin to describe what it's like to have a Sister like Shannon? She is one of the most caring, selfless, and trustworthy women in my life. I love her. She's my best friend, we've been through good and bad, and being together makes us act like we're 17 again... just ask Erica, we embarrass her all the time!
It makes me tear up a little, actually. Thank you Shannon - for all the joy and smiles, what I wouldn't give to be exploring Ruby beach with you today. I am so blessed to call you my sister! You taught me all the good things in life, like Aquanet Hairspray, how to rat one's bangs, and how to be a good strong woman who holds her family together when it feels like it's falling apart... You are such an inspiring lady.
