Back to life!

I would make some erroneous promise to blog more often here... but as you can see I'd fail myself.  It's Okay thought. Life is good, different, and kind of crazy, but good.

My photo above basically describes how much life has changed for me. We went out to happy hour with friends, and I ordered a roll with avocado, and tofu. Ick. Seriously who am I? I'm a Celiac. That's my new life. I like it, but what I wouldn't do to dive into a baguette with a huge chunk of Blue Cheese right now (and yes, most Blue Cheese is not Gluten Free).

I wear my Med-alert bracelets with pride, and I try, to explain it all, to everyone who inquires, and most unsuspecting waiters at restaurants.

I've been writing (mostly in my head) a blog post about this whole thing, but I haven't yet had the bravery to finish, or click "publish" so hang tight for that.

We've been spending some time this spring enjoying family, and the sun! Oh lovely sun! Where have you been?

Just a few weeks ago we were blessed to have some time with Gene & Christina's ENTIRE Family!

It's rare for them to all be in one place at the same time, it was wonderful to see everyone together.

So, naturally we took a few photos to document this occasion... the occasion? Lucas' 2nd birthday!
