R is for Ronnebeck!

Well, the story of the Pumpkin patch wouldn't be complete without the story of our Pumpkin Carving! So, here we are ... one week till Halloween with freshly carved gourds! I went the traditional route this year - and Eric went the traditional ERIC route... with the Long Halloween Batman Pumpkin. We also did two little ones, which were both free handed. Luna got brave this year and licked some Pumpkin off my fingers... and then went and hid. It wouldn't be a complete year if Aquaman didn't lick my Pumpkin to death! He really gets into it... Sticks his head in the Pumpkin and gets the shavings out to eat! It's a good thing that Pumpkin isn't poison to Dogs!  I am super excited to have such a cute little fire place to take pictures in front of! Win. The Pictures with Luna weren't as successful - she was antsy... and Aquaman was about done at that time too.

It's a bit of a Kneeland Family tradition now to go to the Carpinito Brother's Pumpkin patch every year! This is our 4th year, and we started the first year that Gene moved out here! Demi & Lucas have grown so much, and this year really made me smile because they were both so expressive in their excitement to pick out a pumpkin! These ones I just love his little foot up on the pumpkin - and his scrunchy nose and below, his smile :)   They had some seriously LARGE Pumpkins this year!   She insisted on posing for me... I didn't mind... it made me giggle  Our resident Wheelbarrow expert!  This was her "what's wrong with this pumpkin" pose.  We had better luck getting pictures with each kid tha...
