I am pretty sure I've posed these pictures before... mostly to talk about how we got new head shots at work and how excited I was about it.
Today I post these again for a different reason.
As you know I've been working at KMS since April of 2006 - I am hitting 10 years with this firm this spring, and I love this company.
This past week something BIG happened. I was promoted. I am honored, and excited to start my work as a supervisor of a team of 5.
I have been working in the same department under the same supervision, and now they're moving my supervisor out of the office into the field, and moving me to her spot.
This means a lot of things for me, but mostly it means - 2016 needs to be the year I finally conquer the Series 7.
My peers are congratulatory and I am very proud and excited to be put in this position.
Don't worry - I'll retain my sense of self, and fun, but I'm excited to help promote a positive hard working environment for my team. I know that this means big things for me going forward, and I know there is no better place for me to work at this point in time.
Thank you for your ongoing support of this girl who was fresh off the farm (see first picture) who was intent on making it in the "big city".
Here's to the next chapter in our lives and in my career!
