Meet Sasha. Aquaman's birth Mom. She is 12 1/2 years old. Something beautiful happens when you reach out in the universe. I'm so glad that I reconnected with his breeder Laurie. She is such a sweet lady!

Puppies for Sale!

Boo Boo A few days before Aquaman's birthday I sent Laurie (The Breeder we got Aquaman from) his "Open Letter to Aquaman's Mom". She e-mailed me back! I was thrilled to hear from her, but even more thrilled when she said that she has two puppies for sale RIGHT NOW. The puppies were born on March 16th, so on Saturday they will be 6 weeks old. They should be ready to move to their new homes in a couple more weeks. Their mom (Sophie) is solid black with a white blaze on her chest, like both the puppies and their dad (Trigger) is the same color they are. Below isYogi, he is very small and extremely playful. He has a lot of personality and waits for you to come around the corner so he can pounce on your toes. He is such a joy to watch, it can't help but put a smile on your face, even if its been a bad day! He looks so mischievous! Above is Boo Boo, he has a little white mitten on all 4 paws, which is the easiest way to tell him apart from his brother, si

Aquaman is 5!!

We've had family in town, so I'm behind on... well everything in my life. It was a nice visit, and you'll hear more about that later, but let's get down to the important things first... AQUAMAN IS FIVE!!! I can't believe we've had him for nearly 5 years. It doesn't even seem possible. I feel so blessed to have such a fun little dog. He even puts up with my photo shoots, but this year he wasn't super impressed with the hat... so It's beside him a lot, and Eric was trying to help hold it on in the shots that he does have it on! Oh Aquaman... thanks for the 5 years of giggles!

An Open Letter to Aquaman's "Birth" Mom on his 5th Birthday!

Dear Laurie, This is a shot in the dark, but 5 years ago, I met with you (I think) to purchase one of your Shih Tzu Puppies. We purchased “Charlie” from the litter named after the Peanuts Characters. I am writing because today is our little guy’s 5 th Birthday and I just have to tell you how wonderful it is to have him in our lives and what a wonderful addition he’s made to our family. I wish I would have called you after we met to tell you Thank you, but today I want to thank you 100x’s over again. The day I picked him up from the Bank of America parking lot, I took him home and introduced him to our Cat Gracie. She was a 2 at the time, and unimpressed with our new bundle of joy. We had the week to ourselves as my husband was on a mission trip when I came to get him.   We went to the church to pick up my husband and when he got off the bus to say hello, I handed him “Charlie” and told him that this was his new best friend. My husband was thrilled, he was instantly in love
